Those of you who have visited our bar and restaurant before, The Ancient Mariner, may well have seen our collection of unusual and wonderful maritime bits and pieces that we have on display.
Outside, there is a rather large torpedo – obviously. It can cause a few raised eyebrows at check in to the hotel when we direct guests to park their car ‘close to the torpedo’…but then, we’ve never liked being ordinary.
Today, lovely local sign writer, Heidi Baker, has added our bar logo to the torpedo which has had a bit of a face lift.
