Stay with us

Accessibility

Our hotel is steeped in history, which means that due to the Victorian nature of some parts of the building, there are a few accessibility features to be aware of before you make a booking. Please do get in touch with our team if you need any more information before staying with us.

For your information:

The Bath Hotel is a Victorian building and does not have a lift.

There are no rooms on the ground floor, and the rooms are over three floors.

If you require a first floor room, please do get in contact and we will do all we can to accommodate your request.

The Ancient Mariner bar and restaurant is on the ground floor, though please note that again, due to the age of the building, the bathroom facilities are not spacious enough for a wheelchair. There are accessible public toilets approximately 20 yards from our front door.

There are three public spaces for Blue Badge holders outside The Ancient Mariner.

We have baby changing facilities at the hotel, which patrons of The Ancient Mariner are most welcome to use.

During your stay

We want to make sure that your stay with us in Lynmouth is as memorable as it is enjoyable. Whether it’s taking some of the stress away from parking after a long drive, or telling you about our bar, which boasts to be the only pub in the land with a full size torpedo and octopus sculpture, below are just a few things you might be interested in and find helpful

Parking

Parking in Lynmouth can be tough, which is why if you’re lucky enough to be staying in one of our suites you’ll enjoy free private parking. Alternatively, please see reception for more information on a permit for your stay in one of two public car parks.

Ancient Mariner

If the fantastic food in our restaurant isn’t the one for you in the evening, then head next door into The Ancient Mariner, one of Exmoor’s most unique bar and restaurants. Eating outside with the sea view is a simple must-do during the summer months.

Exploring

When it comes to exploring you’ve places to go than you could shake a sturdy Exmoor stick at. That’s before you realise you’re in one of the most picture perfect places in the whole of North Devon already. We’ve got plenty of recommendations though.
