The Lynmouth Shanty Crew
The Lynmouth Shanty Crew are based in the beautiful coastal village of Lynmouth on Exmoor, where the rugged moor meets the sea. Passionate about preserving the rich tradition of maritime music, the crew perform a broad repertoire of traditional sea shanties and nautical folk songs, alongside well-loved modern favourites inspired by life on the water. Their lively performances celebrate the area’s seafaring heritage and are guaranteed to get audiences singing along. Join us on the last Thursday of every month in The Ancient Mariner from 8:30 PM.

Featuring talented local musicians and visiting performers, our live music events create the perfect atmosphere to relax, unwind, and enjoy an evening by the harbour. We have 20 comfortable and quintessentially eclectic en-suite rooms, the majority with sea views. Each room has its own character, unique decor and feel, with a nod to the history of our Victorian building. Choose from suites to quirky twins.
