The Wild Strawberries are thee band from local legend Big Al (of Cult Maniax, Sweet Thangs, Free Born Men and Torrington Town Crier infamy).
Expect classics covers, country and a few rude tunes – they have been known to walk the line!
The sharp-dressed, high-octane group has been stunning audiences at gigs and festivals all year, going from strength to strength. With a fusion of ska, reggae, dub and dance sounds, Skata Tones always have the crowd jumping and singing along.

The group is influenced by many world music artists and various other styles including the likes of Bob Marley, Jimi Hendric, The Specials, No Doubt, Sublime… the list goes on. As well as performing their own versions and variations of cover tracks, Zamba also include original mellow and upbeat grooves in their sets – providing the cool sounds of summer all year round.
Zamba will be playing at the Ancient Mariner Bar at The Bath on the 12th May from 9pm.
Following a fantastic weekend of music and cars, we are very pleased to announce that Lyn Financial Services will be helping to sponsor the Lyn Valley Classic Car Event in Lynmouth this year. The date for your diaries is Sunday 11th June.
It is hoped that there will be several music events over the weekend as well as the car show on the Sunday.
Events on the day will, again, include a Ferrari tour which will park in Lynton for a couple of hours, the Minehead Car Club who will arrive in Lynton with about 70 cars and then proceed to Lynton to join the main display. Joe Baker is hoping to provide a trial bike display on the beach. Aston Martin and Porsche owners have also shown an interested in providing tours into the showThere will be a bouncy castle and rides to entertain the children.

Come and watch the legendary Lynmouth raft race. Teams in fancy dress rowing home made rafts from around the county battle to stay afloat and be the first back to the harbour. See how good your aim is, buy some flour bombs to throw at the rafts!
The Bath will be serving freshly cooked food straight off the BBQ from outside the Ancient Mariner Bar opposite the harbour and the bar will be well stocked for the event with local craft ales and spirits.
Its a great annual spectacle, we suggest arriving early as this is a well loved event and we expect big crowds.
