Places to Visit Lynton and Lynmouth

The  Lynmouth Flood Memorial Hall is open all year round and is a permanent FREE exhibition which includes personal accounts, photos and a scale model of the buildings which were destroyed during the flood of  1952.

Located on the Manor Green in Lynmouth, Hole in 1 Lynmouth Putting Green is a popular pastime for adults and children of all ages. The Kiosk provides drinks, sweets and ice creams and is open daily until November.


The Lyn and Exmoor Museum in Lynton houses an extensive and fascinating collection of local historical artifacts, oh and a ghost! Opening times vary due to being ran solely by volunteers, please check their website before planning a visit.

Lynton Toy Museum opened its doors in April 2019 and a flurry of 5 star reviews quickly followed. With toys, games and action figures ranging from the 1960's to the 1980's a trip down memory lane is guarenteed. Open daily 10am-4pm
