Coronavirus/COVID-19 – Update from The Bath Hotel.

The Bath Hotel remains closed, but with the current government guidance, we are hoping that we may be able to re-open our doors at the end of July.  This depends entirely on the government guidance for accommodation providers. We will be contacting ALL guests with reservations in June and July directly, to discuss moving their reservations. Further information will be released on our official opening date in due course, and when we have more industry specific guidance from the Government.

Please do not phone the office to discuss your reservation, as it is no longer manned daily. Please e-mail any enquiries to info@bathhotellynmouth.co.uk. If you do not have an e-mail address, please leave your name and number on the answerphone and explain that that is the case.

You may cancel your reservation  UP TO 48 HOURS PRIOR to your arrival date, either for a refund, or of course we’re happy for any deposit paid to be held for a future booking. Why not consider postponing your stay, instead of cancelling?  If you need to cancel with LESS THAN 48 HOURS NOTICE, we are happy to move your reservation, or provide a voucher than can be used against a future stay.

Please note that if we do not hear from you, and your reservation date falls when the hotel is closed, we will automatically issue you with a voucher for a return visit.

If you are able to be flexible, and are happy to consider postponement rather than cancellation, this will have a huge positive impact on our small, independent business and our local staff. We understand that this may not always be possible and of course we will help you to cancel, rearrange or postpone your reservation in line with your requests.

 

We are closely monitoring the developments with Covid-19 and are following Government guidance.

Please note that under new government guidance, from the 8th of June, overseas travellers (including from Europe) are required to quarantine for 2 weeks following their arrival into the UK. Please note that The Bath Hotel is NOT available as a quarantine location. When the hotel is open again, overseas guests will be asked to provide proof that they have completed the quarantine before travelling to Lynmouth. If you have not provided this information before you arrive, you will not be allowed to stay at the hotel, so that we may protect our staff, our community and our other guests.
