Events in Exmoor and North Devon
PLEASE NOTE - this page is under construction! There will be lots more annual events being added here soon!
Our bar and restaurant holds lots of lovely events throughout the year - but there are other annual events that it's worth heading to our twin villages for! They'll all appear in various places online, but it's worth drawing your attention to some key annual events....
Lyn Valley Classic
What a sight this is - a hoard of classic cars, descend into Lynmouth via a few stop offs on the way and congregate on The Manor Green, where they're available to view throughout the day. The organisers for this event always pull out the stops, with lots of exciting (and usually top secret) events and shows happening through the day. Their website is HERE so find out when to come and stay! We are seconds away from the main show ground, and with a private car park on either side of the hotel, couldn't be better positioned for a hotel in Lynmouth for the Lyn Valley Classic!
Lynmouth Regatta and Maritime Festival
Lynmouth Regatta and Maritime Festival is held in Lynmouth, raising money for local groups. There are all sorts of maritime activities for mini-mariners and for the older shipmates! There's PLENTY of sea shanty singing, and lots of musical groups to listen to throughout the day. Timing your stay for the Lynmouth Regatta and Maritime Festival is well worth while. The majority of the bands are hosted by The Ancient Mariner and The Bath Hotel who are committed to investing in community events. See the regatta Facebook page HERE for information on upcoming dates!

Lyn Food Fest
Towards the end of September, Lynton Town Hall is host to a huge variety and wealth of local produce - from meat to vegetables, hog roasts to vegan street food, it's so worth calling in to get a good flavour of the amazing local produce available on our doorstep. The Food Fest website is HERE - keep an eye on that to find out the date for this year!
Outdoor Theatre at The Valley of The Rocks
What better backdrop for Shakespear is there, than the wild, rugged setting of The Valley of The Rocks? Pleasure Dome Theatre have run outdoor productions most seasons, so it's worth looking at their website, HERE for information on when their next performances are coming up.
