We’re delighted to be serving Sunday Roast from 12pm to 8pm (that’s right, all day roast!) along with a selection from our usual menu. For your roast, you can choose from aged beef sirloin, belly pork, Devonshire lamb, cornfed chicken or roasted butternut squash. All served with seasonal veg, crispy roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding and as much gravy as you like.
Those of you who have visited our bar and restaurant before, The Ancient Mariner, may well have seen our collection of unusual and wonderful maritime bits and pieces that we have on display.
Outside, there is a rather large torpedo – obviously. It can cause a few raised eyebrows at check in to the hotel when we direct guests to park their car ‘close to the torpedo’…but then, we’ve never liked being ordinary.
Today, lovely local sign writer, Heidi Baker, has added our bar logo to the torpedo which has had a bit of a face lift.
Come and have your photograph taken with the Exmoor torpedo! Which is definitely not pointing at Wales. Nope. Definitely not (it’s being moved soon…!)
Clicking on the photographs will redirect you to The Ancient Mariner Facebook page.
